Marc completed his articles of clerkship at Minter Ellison in 2002 where he worked in the Project and Corporate Finance and Insurance and Corporate Risk groups, taking a special interest in professional indemnity, product liability and personal injury law. Major clients included Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee, the Department of Education and some of Australia’s largest, publicly listed insurance companies.
Marc received his Bachelor of Laws (with first class honours) from the University of Melbourne. He has received several scholarships and prizes in his brief academic career, including the Centenary Scholarship from Ormond College (its most prestigious academic award), a Melbourne Abroad Scholarship to study in France, an Australian Postgraduate Award to fully fund his Masters project, and the Corrs Chambers Westgarth Prize for Competition Law.
Marc has also worked as a secondary school teacher and his Masters project examines the law of negligence in Victoria’s Secondary schools.
As well as commercial law, Marc also practices in family and criminal law.
