Profile:

John has extensive experience in commercial and property law. Prior to joining the Bar, John was a solicitor with Blake Dawson Waldron where he advised on commercial contracting and leasing matters, and has also practiced in insurance, planning and government law.

Before practicing as a solicitor, John worked as a journalist and was employed in public affairs for the Property Council of Australia, which involved close liaison with industry, the media and government on a range of legal issues in the field of taxation, construction and planning.
John also has experience and accepts work in the areas of criminal, family and children's court.
