Brian has extensive experience, appearing in Criminal, Family and Civil matters. He regurlarly appears for Victorian Legal Aid.
He has broad experience in Magistrate Court matters (both metropolitan and regional), Children’s Court, Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, County Court, VCAT.
He also has a willingness to appear in regional courts, in particular Central and Northern Victoria.
Upon being called to the Bar, Brian read with Peter Davis, with emphasis on Family Law.
He has special interests in all areas pertaining to social justice/humanism. He is a regular volunteer at Fitzroy Legal Service and a member of the Criminal Bar Association.
Currently his focus is on various areas of the Trade Practices Act., including manufacturer’s liability, product liability, claims for damages and personal injury/death.
Brian has 2 daughters, one who is a LLB graduate and currently an articled Clerk.
His various interests include an olive farm in North Central Victoria, and Amateur Theatre/Acting.
