Between 2003 and 2008 Ron Rosinsky spent time working as a solicitor in refugee law, migration law and commercial litigation. He was responsible for seeing that the best possible presentation was made to the tribunal on the client?s behalf.
Ron was admitted to practice in November 2003 and signed the Bar Roll in May 2008.
In 1992, after completing his Masters degree in Chicago he migrated from the United States to accept an invitation to serve a city church in Melbourne, and as a marriage and relationship counsellor at the Cairnmillar Institute.
Ron has practiced for over 15 years as a minister with the Uniting Church of Australia, having served congregations in rural, suburban and city settings. He initiated local community programs as well as providing counselling to individuals and families. His passion for human rights both at the individual and the social levels led him to study Public Policy, during which he worked at Oxfam Australia on policy issues.
Through these experiences Ron developed strong foundational skills to be an effective advocate, and to deal particularly with family law clients and proceedings in a sensitive manner.
Most recently, Ron has read at the Bar with Mr. Andrew Robinson, a distinguished family law barrister.
